About

About me

As a bilingual therapist with cross-cultural clinical experience, I bring both personal and professional awareness to the ways culture, identity, and lived experiences shape who we are. I value and respect diversity, and I aim to meet you with cultural sensitivity and openness, whether you're navigating stress, relationship challenges, health concerns, or questions of identity and belonging. Drawing from approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-based perspectives, sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals, helping you uncover patterns, build coping strategies, and move toward meaningful change. I integrate various modalities in therapy to adapt to what feels most meaningful and helpful for each client.

I worked as a counsellor in China for over 3 years, assisting clients coping with depression, anxiety, trauma, and OCD, and other difficult situations. Clients have achieved various goals with my assistance, including alleviation of emotional pain, enhanced relationships, improved self-confidence, as well as behavioural change and personal development.

I also have been counselling clients suffering from chronic diseases, helping them navigate both the physical and emotional impact of illnesses. This has deepened my appreciation for the connection between body and mind, and I support clients in multiple ways to build resilience and self-compassion when facing ongoing health challenges.

In the sessions, I would focus on getting to know you as a whole person—not just the difficulties you're facing. Clients describe me as warm, empathetic, and easy to talk to, and I hope you feel safe enough to bring your whole self into the conversations—the struggles, as well as the strengths and hopes you carry.

In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities with friends, such as hiking and kayaking. I also like reading books and visiting museums.
